Study plan for mobility abroad (Learning Agreement)
During their Erasmus mobility students can:
- attend core and elective courses
- prepare theis the master's/doctoral thesis
- take and internships, if curricular and carried out at the host university
The mobility study plan (Learning Agreement) must be completed online via Esse3 prior to departure and must be approved by the professor encharged to approve it and the partner university.
The signing of the Learning Agreement by all parties involved is a necessary and unavoidable condition for departure and for the recognition of teaching activities
Courses that can be included in the Learning Agreement
- core courses: the corresponding foreign courses must be thematically related
- elective courses: in this case the thematic affinity with the courses offered at UniTrento is not necessary, as long as the foreign courses are consistent with one's course of study (with the exception of exams in local language and culture)
- foreign language courses: if they attest at least the requested level and include a final test based on the 4 skills, they can substitute the mandatory credits for language knowledge. Otherwise they'll be recognized as elective credits.
Recognition must preferably be 1:1 (one UniTrento credit is recognised for one foreign credit).
A maximum rounding up of 2 credits per course is acceptable, with a total difference between credits obtained and recognised of 4 credits.
Courses corresponding to examinations already taken at the University of Trento cannot be entered.
All examinations taken and passed abroad must be recognised as curricular (the only exception being language courses that are not useful for replacing compulsory language skills).
It is not possible to reject a grade obtained.
Doctoral students may only enter thesis research activities (demonstrating coherence between the thesis research project and the Learning Agreement)
