At the conclusion of each academic year, the PhD Academic Board evaluates admission to the subsequent year of studies.

To be admitted to the second year of the doctoral programme, candidates must have:

• Attended first-year classes and actively participated in seminars and other activities;
• Submitted and presented the first-year pre-project, the first-year research report and an activity report;
• Received a positive evaluation from both the tutor and the Academic Board.

For admission to the third year of studies, students must have:

• Submitted and presented a mid-term research report and an activity report;
• Received a positive evaluation from both the supervisors and the Academic Board.
